Village of Kajárpéc (HU)

Kajárpéc is situated in the western part of Hungary, it has about 1,400 inhabitants. The local government is committed to climate protection, and has implemented several environmental, climate and energy related projects and programmes in the past. The village has been honoured with national and international Climate Star Awards. The energy renovation of various municipal public buildings has been carried out in recent years. On lands leased from the municipality, the MVM Group installed 2 solar farms in 2018. The system consists of a total of 2,184 units and has a capacity of 498 kW.
