OurPower was invited by Urban Innovation Vienna to present at the study tour of the EU project LifeLoop. At the study tour the participants received an introduction to the Austrian regulatory framework for energy communities and listened to the reports of three success stories of energy communities in action, one of which was OurPower. After the presentations the participants took the chance to ask questions and exchange experiences.

Ulfert Höhne presented the OurPower´s vision and how the peer-to-peer marketplace was developed. He emphasized citizen energy as the key for a just energy transition. The aim of SHAREs project to engage and educate citizens is vital to foundation and expansion of energy communities. Ulfert Höhne closed with a call to action to take on the challenges ahead and become a force for the energy transition.
