Exchange between Austrian energy communities

On the 13th of October, 2022, Austrian renewable energy communities (REC) met up to discuss current challenges and possible solutions, especially regarding the current energy crisis. Energy agencies from Austrian federal states, as well as the coordination office for energy communities in Austria presented the development of RECs, the differences between urban and rural ones and the many supportive materials on energiegemeinschaften.gv.at. Martina, a SHAREs project team member, listened in so that we can gather more information on how to help local heroes get their RECs started or expanded.
