Austria

Founded in 1977, the Austrian Energy Agency is a non-profit scientific association whose purpose is to develop, support and implement measures that foster sustainable energy supply and use. The Agency prepares the ground for decisions in politics, public administrations and the industry with detailed research and by highlighting important dependencies and connections between topics. It provides information for all target groups in our society on the backgrounds and developments in the field of energy production and use.

Bulgaria

The Black Sea Energy Research Centre, created in 2007, aims at supporting the energy transition in Bulgaria and other countries in the Black Sea Region. It covers a wide range of energy-related activities: research, data analysis, feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, networking of research, policy and market actors, training and dissemination of information.

Ecoaction

Ukraine 

The Ecoaction is a civil society organization that advocates for energy efficiency, renewable energy, countering climate change, clean air for all, and sustainable transport and agriculture. Energy activities are focused on the development of a distributed generation of renewables at the local level, through education, research, promotional activities, and policy development. Its wide network and expertise make it capable of implementing the project activities in Ukraine.

CEA

Cyprus

The Cyprus Energy Agency is a NGO that has participated in 67 projects focusing on climate change mitigation and adaptation, energy efficiency, just transition, energy communities, renewable energy, and others. Within these projects CEA carried out education, training, innovation, research, local and national policy assessment and development, and promotional activities. CEA’s main role in the project is to carry out the activities in Cyprus. Additionally, it will be in charge of the project communication and dissemination.

SDEWES-Skopje

North Macedonia 

SDEWES-Skopje gathers professionals and scientists to provide scientific support for wise policymaking in energy and environment, through modelling, capacity building, stakeholders’ engagement and social marketing, thus ensuring participatory approach in decision-making and behavioural changes of the population. The organisation is well connected to a variety of energy-related stakeholders and is experienced in market analysis, training and promotional activities. Its role in SHAREs+ is to carry out the activities in North Macedonia.

Cooperativa de Energie

Romania

Cooperativa de Energie, the first energy community in Romania, aims to accelerate the energy transition towards a market fully covered by 100% green electricity and to keep it in the hands of its members. The cooperative takes on an educational role by organizing workshops and assisting in the formation of new energy communities. It is a partner in 3 ongoing LIFE-CET projects focusing on the promotion of energy communities. CdE will implement the project activities in Romania.
